Palmer JoHnson super sport 48 m.
It all started when the owner of Palmer Johnson contacted Ola Lilloe-Olsen with a very special challenge. Design a high speed superyacht hull for our new range of Super Sport Yachts with broad beam, high comfort and very reduced power requirement at 30 knots.
The challenge turned into a now well established co-operation where we develop the hull geometry to match the very state of the art design from the PJ design team in Monaco. Three years of extensive modeltesting at Stadt Towing Tank has resulted in a range of hull designs from 48 feet to 72 metres. Built in FRP Sandwich using carbon fibre, these yachts offers unique performance.
